Cardwell Van Park Facilities
The park boasts 45 Powered sites and cabin style accommodation, laundry, camp kitchen, town water, T.V. connection to all sites five free to air channels. Large spacious amenities with good size showers. Room for boats to park. Some large drive thru sites are available. The fishermen among you will be pleased to know that Cardwell Van Park is close to all weather boat ramp.
May to September, Cardwell Van Park offers home made scones with jam and cream for morning tea at 10:30amon Fridays. Just bring your cup to the camp kitchen and all else is supplied.
Beach Fishing
Being just 500 metres from the beach makes fishing from the shore or jetty easily accessible. There are many species to catch including, Barramundi, Bream. Salmon, Queenie and our favourite table fish the Javelin or Grunter to some. Keep an eye out for turtles and dugong.

Spotless Amenities
Guests make use of the park’s spacious and spotlessly clean amenities block for bathrooms and showers.
Guest Laundry
There are four front load washing machines and two commercial dryers located in the laundry. All are coin operated with coins are available from reception, as well as irons if required. We have ample space for hanging your washing out to dry on our four clothes lines.
There is also a book exchange shelf; if you take one, please leave one in its place.
Camp Kitchen
Our spacious camp kitchen features two barbecues, two, two burner electric hobs, microwave, kettle, toaster and a fridge freezer for your convenience.
There is also a tv to keep you up to date on the news or your favourite program.
Garden Settings
The park features lush tropical surrounds with palms, flowering tropical trees and shrubs. You may even be lucky and see flowering orchids dotted in the trees as well as ferns and elkhorns wrapped around them.
An abundance of birdlife inhabits the gardens. Migrating birds nest in the park such as the Pied Imperial Pidgeon and the local Wompoo fruit dove.
